Zoe Andreyev, Ph.D, is a Member of the French Society for Research and Training (SPRF) and of the IPA. Before becoming a psychoanalyst, Zoe Andreyev earned an M.A. in Slavic languages and literatures and went on to work for many years as a translator and interpreter (English, French, Russian). As a psychoanalyst, she put her multilingual background and experience to work, devoting her Ph.D dissertation to Jean Laplanche’s “translational model”; she has also written several articles on the subject of translation and psychoanalysis.
