Mauro Manica is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, a training member of the Italian Psychoanalytic Society and the International Psychoanalytic Association. In addition to various contributions in scientific journals, he has published several volumes on psychoanalysis of serious illnesses. He received the Tycho Award. He was editor of the Journal of Psychoanalysis. He lives and works in Novara.
