Bernard Chervet

Bernard Chervet is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, a full-fledged member of the SPP, where he was president from 2011 to 2015. He divides his practice between Paris and Lyon. Since 2015, he is scientific secretary of the Congress of French Language Psychoanalysts (CPLF). Continuing his investment of international bodies, he has just been elected representative on the Board of the IPA.
He founded Les Editions de la SPP and is the author of more than 220 publications in French and international journals. Winner of the Bouvet Prize in 2018, he directed the publication of a dozen issues of “Monographs and debates in psychoanalysis” among which: Unity and diversity of practices of the psychoanalyst (2006), Interpretation (2012), The founding murder (2015). In 2009, he was rapporteur at the congress of French-speaking psychoanalysts on the theme “The aftermath” and contributed to this entry (2019) in the encyclopedic dictionary of the API.
